(Kiev 2016) Sampled draft @ Porter Pub (Khreschatyk). This beer basically tasted like Pshenichnoe with some chemicals added to give it some kind of fruit flavor. I suspect that this might be exactly what this one is. Hard to tell what the fruit is given the vague name which is hybrid of the English word Black & seemingly the Russian word for pomegranate. I didn’t bother asking given the service. The beer is a weird artificial pale reddish juice with a small off-white head. Nose is chemical sweet alcopop, vague sweet fruit & low milky bad wheat. Taste is fizzy chemical grenadine, spoiled yoghurt, fizzy chemical, lemonade, possible artificial black cranberry, spoiled wheat. Milky, fizzy, artificial, tad milky body. Yikes. Insulting seemingly like the whole place, sadly there is even worse beer than this to be found in some places in Kiev.
