Bottle in my hotel room, Trastevere, from Johnny’s II - 10/02/14. Hazed orange with a moderate off white head that stays for the show. Nose is light citrics, peach, toasty malt, grassy, bitter orange, faint soap. Taste comprises orange pith, light hop bill, straw, earthy pangs, hint more of that soapyness. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so, not true to style, more veering towards an APA with the hop presence, the soap also lets it down a little but doesn’t make it a chore to drink,.

Milder frischer Antrunk mit angenehmer, leicht grasiger Hopfennote. Mild, wenig malzig, trocken brotig zum Schluss. Ok. 9/8/9/8//8

25/07/2013 Ma che siete venuti a fà (tap). Dorata pallida, acida, torbida, con riflessi verdognoli, schiuma bianca leggera. Al naso è molto fresca, bella luppolata, con note erbacee predominanti e base kolsch ben riconoscibile. In bocca è molto gustosa, luppolata, fresca, a lungo andare emerge un po’ di astringenza e una leggera nota di sedano. Corpo leggerino, carbonazione media. Nel complesso molto soddisfacente e superiore alle aspettative. Andrebbe solo rifinita un po’.
