"Arnsteiner Pils", vom Faß im Biergarten des Bender-Bräustübl, Arnstein. - Sehr schlankes, fast wäßriges Pils mit ganz dezenter Kekssüße und sehr milden kräuterigen Hopfennoten. Angenehm trocken, leicht schwefelig herb. Im Abgang störende Anklänge an Putzmittel. Unangenehmer Nachgeschmack wie von Mottenpulver. - Trinkbar aber kein Genuß. In Mainfranken ist man mit Wein wirklich besser bedient.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Strawy and slightly grainy pale malty aroma with present grassy hoppy notes. Balanced sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with an almost crisp carbonation. Dry strawy malty mouthfeel with grassy hops character; balanced malty and grassy hoppy during the finish. (Bottle, 0.5 l, thanks VastActiv/TimoA, 20170707) The beer poured pale golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass and grain. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was grainy and bitter. A good pils.

* Old rating, 0,5l crown-top bottle, best before 02.04. Mild-süßliches Pils, im Hauptteil kommt eine Herbe zu Vorschein, die sich im Nachgeschmack deutlich fortsetzt. Würzig-milder Köper. Lecker!
