Tap at the brewery, c. November 2014. Pours clear rich, honey-gold with a tight, creamy off-white head. Nice smoked malt nose, light meaty notes. Medium sweet flavour with moderate smoke, candied ham, some leafy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and creamy texture. Light warmth in the finish, rounded smoked malt character, more candied ham, faint brown sugar and leaves. Good one.

Frisch getreidiger, zunächst mild rauchiger Antrunk. Die Rauchigkeit verstärkt sich zum Mittelteil deutlich, angenehme Herbe, rund. Etwas erhöhte Karbonisierung. Süffig, vollmundig, leicht hefig. Gut! 12/12/12/12//12

On tap. Pours a clear orange-amber color. Starts malty, not too roasty, fine earthy-smokey notes. Well balanced finish, dry-malty, smokey aftertaste.
