Another 1 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot mate! Dark brown reddish in the glass, big three finger head. Malty and light toasted on the nose. Taste starts more rough, first a disturbing massive citrus sourish sequence. Toasted malt, toasted grain and hay in the middle part. Can not really convince due to the sourish start. Maybe wrong bottle?

Süffiger, dunkel malziger Beginn mit leicht erhöhter Karbonisierung. Milde Röstigkeit, ebenfalls mild karamellig. Hintergründig Espresso, insgesamt rund. Zum Ende milder. Süffig, trocken, nett. 12/9/9/9//9

1l bottle, thank you kappldav123! Slightly hazy brown with a creamy beige head and an intensive caramel aroma. Medium-bodied, malty start with a pleasant caramel-ly sweetness, hints of cocoa. Earthy hopy in the finish. Very-well made and very moreish.

On tap at the brewpub. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice creamy head. Mild malty aroma. Starts fine malty, modest roasty, dry background. Dry notes get stronger and stronger, some fruity-bitter notes of plum. Finish well balanced and quite drinkable. A good one!
