[ As Mont Salève Export Stout ].Clear dark brown black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark fruit, raisin, plum, light soy sauce. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark fruit, raisin, chocolate, wood. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20170121] 7-3-8-3-15

@ BXL Beer Fest. Dark brown/black colour, roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, bit thin. Not a bad stout.

Draft glass @ Saint-Gilles CML. Black, creamy mocha head, nicely lacing. Nose is grainy mocha, caramel, sugar, nice mocha malts, faint smoked malts. Taste is mocha, grainy, cacao, mocha, powdered chocolate, malts, quite solid good mocha, dry chocolate malts, sugar. Body is grainy mocha. Pretty good affair, much better than most in the style.

Bottle at home, 29th October 16. Pours black, little white head. Aroma is ash, chocolate, smoke. Taste is ash, smoke, bitter chocolate, cocoa. Never too sweet. A little similar to the Kernel. Very good.

F: average, not very long lasting, brown. C: completely dark, opaque. A: roasted malt, coffee ground, chocolate, light leather, hint of dark fruits, light smoke, woody. T: malty, chocolate, coffee, cacao, hint of fruits, smoked wood, low bitterness, oily mouthfeel, medium full body, lower carbonation, good balanced beer worth to try, 0,33l bottle from La Cave à Bulles in Paris.
