One of the best beers I had this year. The menu only said "saison bier" so I had to do some digging to find out what it was - but I'll get a couple of bottles when I'm back in that area!

draught at Rossknecht im Schloss, Bietigheim-Bissingen. Hazy amber-brown with a creamy off-white head. Malty start, caramel, roasetd malts, nuts... full-bodied, good stuff.

On tap. Malty aroma. Pours amber color. Tasty bock, a light sweet with a taste that is similiar to aroma.

Draught at the bräuhaus, 6.6% ABV
Cloudy amber color; small head. Good malt aroma, some cereals too. It has a stronger body than the generic Hell of the region, with a lightly sweet malt flavor, but without exciting characteristics. Ordinary bitterness. Easy beer.
