El Cuñado is another member of the BlackLab IPA family. This rye IPA owes its beautiful red/amber color and malty flavor to the rye malt. The hop aroma and flavor conjure memories of a forest morning, with pine, eucalyptus, flowers and red fruits.

On tap at Black Lab beer and kitchen. Pours hazy dark amber with off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus and floral notes, some bread. Tastes bitter with some residual sweetness. Medium bodied, smooth mouth feel, bitter finish.

Clear brown colour with lively carbonation. There’s a really strong rye flavour to this one. Piney hops in the finish.
