Der alte Hochstädter Premium-Apfelwein verfeinert mit einem Hauch Johannisbeere. So prickelnd kann Apfel sein.

Süßer, mild süß-säuerlicher Antrunk. Roter Apfel, ab dem Mittelteil wässrig, langweilig. 7/8/9/8/8/8

Pours from a bottle with friends. Obviously a rosé colour. Not to sweet, the black currant gives it an interesting twist. Dry finish.

Rosé with a hint of brown in the glass, dry and mouldy aroma. The cider starts much more fruity than the nose, not too dry, slightly fruity-fresh. The mainpart is moderate sour, not too full but not light as well - nicely balanced. The fruitiness of the red currant is noticeable behind the nicely dry and sour cider. The aftertaste is long, fruity-fresh, easy to drink!
Nice combination of a typical Frankfurt-style cider with a hint of red currant. --> 12/12/11/11

Bottle: Almost clear, light pinkish coloured, no head, sweetish-sourish fruity nose (berries, apples, citrus fruits); mild to moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, soft and light bodied; shy sourish-fruity finish, balanced by a moderate sweetness. Easy drinking "fruity" cider, not bad, but a bit too sweet for me…
