Nieco slabsze piwo zimowe z Belgii.

Clear amber brown colour, small frothy beige head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma roasted malts, dark fruits, brown sugar, liquorice, caramel. Sharp taste, thin mouthfeel, light heavy sweet, light bitter, burned caramel, spicy. Middle part dominated by bitter roasted malts, some chicory, peppery. Finish dry roasted, spicy, alcohol notes, all in all thin impression, medium body, watery to oily texture, average carbonation. Less body than expected, taste one-sided roasted malts, misses complexity, a harsh beer, average.

Sampled from bottle. Brownish color, average to medium sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, brown malts, some caramel and perhaps a hint of brown sugar in the distance with a hint of alcohol. Ok body and carbonation.

75 cl bottle, labeled as 7 ABV. Pours dark, yet clear, chocolate brown. Good white head. Smell is sweet, thick, very much leaves, spices, but very different than the usual x-mas beers. Taste is sharp, bit bitter, dark malts, notes of indeed, roasted bread. Weird ! Not sure how I like it, but due to the interesting taste, this is very drinkable. Its very thin in the mouth, a factor I think is a missed opportunity. The carbonation level is OK.
