Bottle shared by tderoeck, cheers. Eggshell-white, thick, lacing, irregular head, clear coppery amber coloured robe with lively sparkling. Aroma of melting caramel candy, dried orange peel, lots of coriander seed, hazelnut oil, old dried 'herbes de Provençe', tofu, apple peel, nutmeg, cinnamon. Sweet onset but not too cloying, a tad honeyish and fruity with medium carb; smooth, bit resinous body based on caramelly malt sweetness increasingly drenched in ethereal, over-the-top spiciness - reminiscent of an old spice rack and including clove, coriander, thyme and ginger as suggested aromas. Vague metallic note in the end as well as lingering caramelly malt sweetness. Very 'dusty old spice rack' Christmas ale, sweet and old-fashioned, but as such and within its specific range, a correct beer.

Clear orange to amber beer, big creamy off-white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very spicy, caramel malts, cloves, nutmeg, big sourish, grains, more spices. MF: very lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very spicy, cloves and nutmeg, hint of oranges, dusty, little dirty. Copper colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have some dryness and cork. Some yeasty undertones. Really basic and lacking in depth and complexity.

[Thank you for sharing!][Bottle sampled @ O.B.E.R. Kerstbierfestival 2016] Amber grown, touch golden, little head. Nose is chemical, cleaning products, rotting spice, awful air freshener,... Taste is thin fizzy, awfully chemical, soap, insecticide, chemicals, industrial, rain, citrus, awfully chemical, extremely unpleasant,... Thin, fizzy, chemical,... Awful really.
