At Kerstbierfestival 2016 , thnx for sharing everyone ! Pours rather clear amberblonde. Smell is peated whiskey. Taste is peated, oaky, sharp, full. very much peated. Bit weak, sweet back. Not really balanced, very high on the peaty side. Still, some other aspects shine trough, but truth be told, the base beer isn’t to great to begin with.

Sampled @ KBF 2016, Essen. Clear golden color, small to average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, light peat, some oak indeed and slightly sweet-sour in the finish. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Ok beer.

[Thank you for sharing!][750 ml. bottle sampled @ O.B.E.R. Kerstbierfestival 2016] Near clear dark orange, off-white bubbles. Nose is weird glue, chemicals, peated industrial pain thinner. Taste is chemical nail polish, varnish, industrial, glue, poor Islay whiskey, varnish, industrial,... Like drinking peated paint thinner, totally hated it. Body is flat chemical nail polish.

F: big, off-white, good retention. C: orange amber, hazy. A: malt, woody, sour tones, vinous, hint of barnyard, lemon. T: malt, woody, light sourness, hint of lemon, apple vinegar, vinous, peach, hint of barnyard, spicy, medium to full body, medium carbonation, velvety mouthfeel, much better beer than “Kempisch Vuur Winter”-blue label which is alias for “Kerstvuur (2011-)” unbelievable difference, very good balanced, 0,33l bottle from Prik&Tik Kampenhout.
