Gebraut nach dem deutschen Reinheitsgebot, weist unser Flutlicht den Weg zu einem hochwertigen und geschmackvollen Bier.
Die Malze, die wir für unser Bier verwenden, sind die besten Deutschlands. Bis auf Spezialmalze stammen die meisten aus regionalem Anbau.
Unseren Hopfen beziehen wir vom weltweit größten Hopfenanbaugebiet Hallertau. Das Zusammenspiel von Bitter- und Aromahopfen sorgt für den außergewöhnlichen Geschmack des Flutlichts. Die obergärige britische Ale-Hefe verleiht dem Flutlicht eine dezent aromatische Fruchtnote.
Um zu gewährleisten, dass keine wertvollen Inhaltsstoffe verloren gehen, wird das Bier nicht filtriert und somit entsteht ein besonderes, naturtrübes Bier - echt wie unsere Stadt.

Herber, trocken getreidiger Start. Monoton, spät leicht bitter, nie wirklich hopfig. Mittellanger Nachhall. Muss nicht sein. 9/7/7/7/9/7

Bottle. Hazy yellow. Nice head with small lacing. Aroma is mostly toasted malts, then hops and there’s also something that reminds me of chocolate (!?!) but please don’t quote me on this...Taste is grainy, grassy, some toasted biscuit and a little bit fruity with a touch of lemons. Carbonation is rather low. Aftertaste is hoppy bitter. Refreshing. Succeeds in being better than a certain beer from Herford but there is also room for improvement. Ok. 2 years later: Aroma has gotten more fruity and that strange impression of chocolate is gone...Carbonation is way up and there is a decline in bitterness. Still refreshing but still just ok.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with average, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, toasty aroma, hints of white bread crust, zwieback. Taste is slightly bitter, grainy, strawy, toasty, hints of white bread crust, zwieback, burnt straw. Homebrew-ish, no immediate imminence for Herford.
