Nasce nel 1996 la prima birra del Birrificio Lambrate e si chiama Montestella. Nel corso degli anni ha subito diverse revisitazioni per trovare la propria identità in una pilsner in puro stile lambratese.

On tap at Lambrate - Golgi, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has gentle straw, biscuity malt, and soft grassy hopping. Flavour is punchier, with grassy hops, light Saaz-like spiciness, straw, and a crisp crackery malt base. Clean and well-brewed. Solid.

From tap at Birrificio Lambrate 18.06.23. Hazy pale straw colour. Dense and hughe white head. Fine aroma and taste of pilsner malt and grassy noble hops. Very quaffable! Moderate hop bitterness in aftertaste.

An every so slightly bitter version of a german helles. But cleanly brewed, lager crisp. But I’d prefer a german. Lambrate milano

Bottle. Color: Clear golden, large white head. Aroma: Malty, grain, some hop. Taste: Sweetish, malty, grain, notes of flowers, fruity apple and subtle herbal notes. Light peppery hints and sweetish cake at finish. Moderate to above moderate bitterness. According to the label this is a Pilsner, but there are more flavours in this beer than in almost any other Pilsner. Bit dry-ish mouthfeel. Somewhere in between Pilsner and Saison. Medium body, average carbonation. Quite nice.

Clear gold, creamy white head. Cereals and bread, not really hoppy fresh but not bright - just a little bit of lemon and generic fresh citrus. Similar taste, just a bit thin, even for a pils. And the bitterness is too humble as well.
