At first we launched Sleeping Lemons, 3.6% with a tart, zingy acidity and rounded salt character, it was the perfect sunshine beer. It was our firm favourite all through the summer, however it’s not summer anymore…

Sleeping Lemons Export comes in at 6% lending a bigger, maltier body to the beer. The fuller mouthfeel and warming alcohol bring decadent flavours of lemon meringue pie to the character of this beer and the acidity is more rounded and reminiscent of lemon curd.

Made with preserved lemons, this re-release of an old favourite, now available in our 330ml bottles for you selfish people out there who feel sharing is all too much...

20.05.2017, tap @ Bergen Craft Beer Festival:
Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, hazy. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish, soda powder, lemon juice, grass, minerals, hay, fruit stones, paper, dusty cellar. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish moldy, soda powder, moldy lemon juice, hay, grass, weeds, old lemon peel. Medium bitterness, slightly sour-ish moldy mouthfeel. Weird.

Bottle at home. Pours a slighty hazy yellow colour with an off-white head. A little odd aroma of lemon, moist basement, spices, cheese and vinegar. Sour flavor of vinegar, apple, lemons, white bread and vegetables. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. A fresh and interesting beer.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Stokmarknes. Dissipating snow white head over a hazy grey-green-yellow coloured body. Minimal lacing. Aroma of ripe lemon and pale malts. Ripe lemony tartness to the taste profile, salty and dry. Refreshing with tolerable acidity towards the ending. Not my kind of good beer drinking though (Stokmarknes 15.03.2017).

0.33l bottle. Well, it's quite on the clear side this. Not crystal though and it has a pale golden colored body under a medium sized white top. It smells like sour lemons mixed with a little fruity passion fruit puree. Traces of grains, but it smells I general quite sour. Not bad, but nothing extraordinary either. Doesnt really taste like it smells. First of all, way too much salt in here. It has a thin and strange almost slimy mouthfeel, soft to average on the bubbles. Tastes, in lack of better words, old. Grainy cardboard and almost parsley herbal. No sourness in the taste. Strange one that grows on you but with a tad too dominating salt flavor for my liking. 18.02.2017

Bottle. Pours hazy light yellow, with a quickly dissipating creamy head. Aroma is lactic acid, with fruit peel and white berries. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart with lactic acid, lemon juice and floral notes, light malts with cereals and honey, as well as some light salty whiffs to finish it off.
