An innovative style that matches roasty notes with fruity/hoppy ones. Dry hopped with Sorachi Ace, there are hints of coconut coming through the toastier flavours of the darker malts.

Sampled @ RB Danish Summer Gathering 2013 day 2, Ulfborg. Bottle. Opaque pitch black color, small light brown head. Smell malts, hops, roastyness and lightly coffee. Taste malts, roasted malts, lightly coffee, nicely bitter, some hops but not enough to be a really good Black IPA. Nice imperial stout though.

Bottle at Powder Keg Diplomacy in Battersea, Pours a thick black with a dense brown head. Aromas of rich dark chocolate, roasted malt, whiskey and pine hop notes. Full bodied with a nice fine carbonation. Great flavours burnt malt, dark coffee, molasses sugar before great big citrus hops round it for a lingering bitterness.
