Keg tap at Tønne, Leicester. Very dark brown, almost black with a tiny ring of tan head. Coffee in the aroma along with some soured blueberry, some papery notes and an earthy note. Bittersweet taste, with bitter coffee and underripe stone fruit leading to a slightly more bitter finish. Heavy carbonation. Not a bad beer.

Bottle from Better Foods, Wapping Wharf, Bristol. Near black in colour, with a thin, beige, head. Sweetish stout, with some dark berries, hints of caramel, toasty malts, and a slightly vinous edge before a dryish finish. Good.

Wässriger malziger Beginn von Kaffee. Süffig, minimal bitter, keine Karbonisierung. Spritzig, langer Nachhall, zu wässriger Hintergrund. 10/8/9/9//9
