a nice sourness with a restrained bitterness. well balanced beer with nothing overtly wrong, it just comes down to flavour preference for this one. berlin beer fest 2019

Bottle as a gift from my brother, many thanks. Dark reddish brown colour, creamy foam. Tart nose of blackberries, very fruity. Taste is tart, fruity, dry and bitter. Rather lively carbonation.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 25.03.2019) im 2018-08 getrunken. OH JA! Dieser IPA/SourAle Hybrid zeigt das er beide Bierstile sehr gut beherrscht. Die Hopfenbitterkeit steht dem Ale sehr gut und die Säure mit der Beerenfrucht paßt dazu einfach wunderbar. Ich mag wenn diese Stile so gekonnt verbunden werden. Toll!

On tap at Maryensztadt, pours an opaque dirty orangey brown with a small beige head - looks like shit. Aroma brings out some butyric, with tart citrus, and pithy stone fruits. Flavour is very pithy and yeasty, with lots of dirty stone fruits, tart citrus, and some butyric. Something very wrong here - lots of infected notes, but that was predictable by the appearance and nose. Not good.
