Thanks a lot to Erzengel for sharing! Unclear copper in the glass. Smells barrel wood alcoholic with some candy. Taste starts alcoholic, barrel wood, some malt. Not really complex but also no easy drinking stuff. Can´t get really into it.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Beer in the glass copper coloured, small head. Malty spicy alcoholic aroma. Starts fine malty, alcoholic, sweetish. Also some herbal notes in the background. Warming-malty finish. Woody as well. Really nice!

Fläschla (7,5 dl): Deep golden, hazy, medium-sized, slowly collapsing white head; moderate sweet honeyish to pale-malty nose, herbal hops and a tannic bitterness underneath; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, surely full bodied, but a bit harsh; lingering sweet pale-malty, fruity and tannic-woody finish with some herbal hops underneath. Good! Pretty well drinkable Doppelbock, fortunately the Muscatel was not detectable...
Smooth alcoholic nose. The beer starts smooth grainy. The Muscatel is smooth round, refreshing with alcoholic white wine parts. Grain and woody alcohol in the back with a dry white wine finish.
75cl bottle. A hazy yellow golden beer with a white head. Aroma of moderate sweet woody malt, bourbon, pale malt. Taste of mild sweet pale malt, wood, vanilla, some funky grapes. Good!

Sampled from 0.75 l bottle from 'Flaschenfreund', best before August 2021. Hazy, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity-vinous aroma of white wine, gooseberry and some citrus. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite fruity-vinous taste of white wine, gooseberry, oak, citrus and a touch of honey, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly tart, rather woody-dry finish. Medium body, spritzy, slightly astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice!
