Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Intense malty spicy aroma. Starts strong, a bit alcoholic, malty-spicy. Some woody notes. Wheaty-woody background. Light fruity touch. Finish well balanced, light sweetish malty. Interesting!

Big thank you to Erzengel for this 0,75 l bottle. Cloudy golden with a more than one finger head in the glass. Smells grainy with some fruity elements. Taste starts fruity malty, complex, some sweetness. Increasing alcoholic bitterness, but also balanced. Spicy. Warming. Nice.

0.75 l bottle from 'Bergmann Stehbierhalle', 8,4% abv, best before February 2021. Clear, deep amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity-floral and slightly malty aroma of honey, lemon peel, sultanas and some apricot. Quite sweet, malty, gently fruity-floral taste of honey, sultanas, apricot and lemon peel, followed by a short, moderately, minimally grassy-spicy finish. Full body, smooth and oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Really pleasant beer, not too outspoken but nicely balanced and smooth.

On tap @ Stehbierhalle. Caramel, soft grain. Slightly sweetish with a very soft body. Light bitter, creamy fruity yeast. Mild bitter body, soft sweetish grainy. Yellow fruits, mild with a nice fruity grainy back. Full bodied, moderate bitter in the end, refreshing grainy sweetish ending. Low bitterness, sessionable, fruity sweetish grain in the back.

Gezapft: Deep golden, hazy, quite stable medium-sized creamy white head, moderate sweet-bitter fruity-malty nose, small amount of herbal hops detectable in the background, mild alcoholic traces underneath; almost solid sweet-bitter flavour, almost full bodied and pretty soft; slightly lingering sweet-bitter and fruity finish. Ho, ho, ho! A devilishly moreish Doppelbock. Well crafted and well balanced...

Blumig hopfiger, erkennbar alkoholisch, süß hellmalzig mit passend herbem Ausgleich. Spritzig, steigende Intensität, herb-würzig, klebrig werdend. Langer, hell würziger Abgang. Gut. 11/10/11/10//10
