You hold the marriage of wine and beer. Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin Farmed Wheat and Belgian Roasted Barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year.
Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely "Wisconsin." So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet. Serve your friends Belgian Red in a brandy snifter or champagne flute and toast life with beer from the land of Wisconsin.

Massive sweet cherry and marzipan. Sweetness dominates in an almost cake-like note

nice cloudy ruby pour with a creamy beige head. Aroma is amazing! tart cherries, and cherry pie. Smells just like my mothers cherry pie. The flavor is outstandng, its just like drinking cherry pie. Out standing tart and slightly sour cherries with touches of honey. Out standing beer, incredibly drinkable, just perfection!

12 oz bottle. (My last bottle) Bottle was a bit of a gusher. Pours a somewhat hazy garnet color with a small off-white head. The aroma is strong fresh cherries and raspberries. The taste mirrors the aroma--there is a good fresh red berries character. The palate is light-medium with soft carbonation. Finishes very long with lingering berries. Overall: decent--one of my favorite fruit beers. Pairs well with some appenzeller cheese.

(Thanks, Jim! ozzy70) Bottle. A- Cherry juice, honeycrisp apples. A- Ruby red color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Cherry juice, mild tartness, mild sweetness. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly tart finish. O- Been wanting this one for a long while. Straight up natural cherry juice. Not a lot to say, other than wow it's great. Love New Glarus and probably only second to their Strawberry Rhubarb for me.

Bottle care of Jimmy. Thanks man! Pours a clearish burgundy copper with orange highlights and a small off-white head that dissipates. Lovely aromas of honey and fresh squeezed cherries. More of the same on the palate. Lots of sweet cherry with light bread and honey notes. Cherry that lingers for days.

Bottled 355ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him and hrabren. No abv stated on the label. Dark amber coloured, minimal off-white head, sweet cherry nose. Cherry, fruity and slightly syrupy taste with some acidity in the finish. Too strong cherries for my taste.

0.33 l bottle shared with little Dina, Ogi and Marko. Huge thanks Marko for sharing and Glovo for bringing. Murky dirty ruby red, small off-white head. Cherry candy, some cocoa. Some sugars. Slightly tart cherry, soft, fruity. Very nice full fruity cherry flavour. Tart berries. Sweet. Light to medium body. Moderate carbonation. Balanced sweetness. A bit overwhelming.
