You hold the marriage of wine and beer. Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin Farmed Wheat and Belgian Roasted Barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year.
Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely "Wisconsin." So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet. Serve your friends Belgian Red in a brandy snifter or champagne flute and toast life with beer from the land of Wisconsin.

Bottle, huge thanks wchesser! Shared with Ogivlado, Hrabren and Dina. Pungent sour cherry aroma, light light acetic tartness. Huge fruit taste, lovely sour cherry profile, sweetish, ending tart. Genuinely nice fruit beer, and a classic I'm really glad to have tried.

Bottle thanks to Bill Young. Pours hazy muddy red with a small offwhite head. Aromas of sweet candy cherries, tart candy sours, marzipan, vinegary tartness. Taste about the same. Sour cherries, candy, malty, tart cherry pits.

75 cl bottle. Maraschino cherries aroma with mint. Sweet, sugary, almost syrupy cherry flavor. Marzipan. Sweet indeed, but somewhat vinous and liquor-like. Some lemony sourness. A bit too sweet, but actually quite nice.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Fresh Thyme, Milwaukee. Appearance is mildly hazy reddish-orange with nice sparkle, less-than-finger width fizzy beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong sweet cherry--bordering on almost-too-much cough drop/syrup land, but pulls back just enough--with almost imperceptible tart/sour fruit in the background. Taste is a mix of sweet cherry and tart (like a Cranberry-Cherry juice cocktail). Palate is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not particularly what I have in mind when I'm thinking I want a beer but well crafted and nice as fruit beers go. Amount of tart doesn't go over the edge for me because it has to counter strong sweetness. Good.

Bottle st share. Murky pour, muddy violet color, thin ring of head. Aroma recalls a freshly opened jar of jam. Taste is wonderfully sweet and smooth, superb feel too. Sweet, hibt of tartness. Juivy. Excellent.

12 oz bottle poured, with a huge thanks to Jackie for the share. What a treat! Of all the cherry beers I've had, this one is definitely a one of a kind. A darker copper red pour, a dense tan foam cap. Cherry pie, soft Belgian yeast impressions on the unique and pleasant aroma. Flavor is a balance of sour cherries, and sweet filling. Tasty beer here. Exceptionally unique. Awesome try.
