You hold the marriage of wine and beer. Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin Farmed Wheat and Belgian Roasted Barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year.
Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely "Wisconsin." So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet. Serve your friends Belgian Red in a brandy snifter or champagne flute and toast life with beer from the land of Wisconsin.

Bottle thanks to Rando7. Pours a dark red with strawberry head. Nose is Luden’s Cherry cough drops, cherries and cream. Taste is pure cherry bliss. Nice full mouth feel. Absolutely delicious.

Bottle sent by ericandersnavy. Thanks for this one man. Pours orange tinged ruby with a lightly pinkish head. It smells like cherries. Medium body with slightly fizzy carbonation. It is slightly sweet, slightly tart and very cherry. There’s an oaky/astringency touch. Gets bitter with time. Mouthsmackingly wonderful.

Bottle courtesy of, and shared with, sebletitje, a.k.a. Sebastien, a.k.a. SeaBass - merci, mon ami! Purple, thin white head, great lacing. Aroma is pure cherry heaven, fresh and juicy. Taste has slight tartness, only mild sweetness, and massive fruit. Outstanding brew.

Bottle. Dark red (with a touch of brown) color with a nice off white head. The aroma is candy and/or soap like. Small sourness. Taste is a little vinous, very very fruity with a small sourness. Compared to the New Glarus Raspberry Tart, this one is more of an "ordinary" beer. You can feel the malt and hops in the background. Thick mouthfeel, smooth.

Strong aroma of sour cherries and apples. Murky ochre, thin pink head, some lacing. Fabulously sweet and tart flavor of cherries, no hops or malt detected. Medium body, a bit fuzzy in the back of the throat. Absolutely delicious, but not very complex or beery.

bottle, pours hazy ruby red with a medium light tan head. HUGE cherry aroma with 7up and thin apple notes. Really nice sweet cherry and pale malts end tart again with cherry skin and maybe a little apple. This is so drinkable it’s not even funny. Tastes like a really good juice.

Bottle at MesandSim’s tasting Aug 09. Thanks to HogTownHarry and Mes for this and to Ruth for allowing us to open this. Clear deep red, lasting beige head. Aroma of red fruits and toast. Some raspberry jam. Cherry and raspberries, slightly sweet like cherry juice. Some good cutting acidity on finish. It is very good. Very cherry-ish. Bit of toffee sweetness. Like cherry toffees. Good? Better than some krieks from Belgium? Not quite. Different and good though. Glace cherry flavours.
