Classical Black IPA brewed on a good dark grain bill and hopped with bitter Warrior and flavorsome Chinook. Despite the name, no ink-fish was hurt during the brew.

Bottle. Opaque dark brown, creamy foam. Aroma: yeast, burnt, spicy hop, fruits, a little wet rag. Taste: bitter, a little earthy and spicy, fruit, grapefruit, slightly burnt, light creamy.

500ml bottle from Dogma in Moscow. Pours black with a medium-sized beige head. Very tempting aroma of oranges, coffee, tobacco. Taste is roasted malt, bitter hops, black coffee. I'd like it more if it were a bit sweeter. Not bad all the same.

Draught. Deep brown to black. Dense tan head. Lots of roasted malts, coffee, citrus hops on nose. Similar taste. Too much roast. Low to medium citric bitterness. Hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.
