At a tasting, thanks, smallish bubbly head, murky light brown to red color, light stale smokey aroma with shrubs and sour bread in back, smokey flavor withshrubs and biscuits, strange sourness. Not sure what to make of this, interesting.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Thanks Max & Stas. Cloudy amber. Spicy aroma, caramel, honey, herbal, malt. Sweetish-sourish flavor with caramel, herbal, spicy, fruitiness, and a light bitterness note. Medium-bodied. Weird, interesting.

pours a cloudy deep amber with a big frothy white head and aroma of juniper, peat, whiskey, smoke, cloves. rather sour flavour, spices, herbs. very fizzy carbonation.

500ml bottle from Bochka in Moscow. Pours cloudy brown with a beige head. Aroma of herbs, berries. Taste is of berries and spices. Very carbonated. Interesting to try this very old style.

Draft. Cloudy orange with beige foam. Aroma: wild rosemary, sunflower pulp (no seeds), juniper, malty nectar and other herbs. Taste: juniper resin with herbs, a little honey, unusual beer.
