Opaque deep brown. Small tan head. Nose: coffee, roast, earth, dark malts, steamed peas. Medium body. Flat carbonation. Taste: roast, coffee, caramel, a sour sign of starting infection. Generally subdued , not intense enough. Low bitterness. Disappointing.

Bottle. Almost black, dark brown with light-brown foam. Sweet aroma, caramel malt and wine. Taste: wine and caramel sweetness, roasted malt, not bad.

At a tasting, many thanks, smallish bubbly head, very deep brown color, aroma of dark chocolate dark malt and some grains, flavor of chocolate, nuts, peanuts and earthy notes. Light subtle sweetness. Good and satisfying Baltic Porter.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas. Black with a big tan head. Aroma of caramel, nuts, a bit of chocolate, some roast. Sweet flavor with caramel, chocolate, lots of nuts, some roast, a smoky hint and a licorice hint. Medium to full-bodied, quite rounded. Very good.

500ml bottle from aPIvo.ru. Pours pitch black with a medium-sized beige head. Aroma is roasty and black coffee. Taste is coffee, roastiness and dark bread. Nice but I prefer my Baltic porters to be a bit sweeter.
