Dieses Bier wird von der tschechischen Firma Stammgast s.r.o. in der deutschen Brauerei Frankenthal für den russischen und weißrussischen Markt gebraut. Fairerweise muss man sagen, dass dies alles auf der Fose steht- in deutscher Sprache! Getrunken habe ich es in der Ukraine, wo es mir ein Schwager voller Stolz neben einem einheimischen Lizenz-Kozel angeboten hat. Es ist ein klassisches Industrie-Weizen wie man es vom Diskonter kennt. Flach, aber stimmig und einheitlich, dass es leicht zu trinken ist

Can 50 cl. Cloudy honey-yellow, yellowish foam. Aroma: banana, even caramelized, wheat bun, yeast, a little cloves. Taste: sweetish with sourness, banana, cloves, a bit watery.

Brewed at Frankenthaler Brauhaus in Germany. Appearance: Cloudy pale amber with a tall off-white frothy head of medium retention. Aroma and taste: A lot of overripe banana, wheat bread, clove, grassy hints. Light to medium sweet. Low to light bitterness. Mouth feel: Light to medium body, average carbonation. Overall: OK Weizen.

Bottle from The Bonne Cuisine. Flip top pours out with an instant foamy head that fades instantly, what a dud. Aroma strays too far into malty territory, recalling some maibock sweetness. Taste is more on target, light banana and clove flavors. Body is in the zone, although a bit thin. Been a while, and makes me crave a real weizen.

500ml bottle from local booze shop. Pours a light and cloudy toffee colour with a medium sized white head with average retention. No lacing at all. Big banana aroma. Overall it’s a decent hefeweizen.
