For this red lager, as well as all of our beers, the water comes from the Torne river. The Torne river is about 500 kilometer long and this makes it the longest river in Norrbotten County. It serves as a natural part of the border between Sweden and Finland and has been an important waterway for log driving and trade alike. It is one of the cleanest waters in Sweden.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 4.5

330ml Bottle (Thanks Omhper) - Amber in colour. Dried fruit and malt in the aroma with some musty notes. Qutie sharp taste with some sour notes as well as some grainy, biscuity and fruity notes lurking in the background. Not on top form as I am sure this is not how it should be.

Ty omhper. Magus ja hapu, linnaseline, puuviljane, viljane. Joodav. 2.8, kuigi ilmselt hapusus ei ole tahtlik.

Bottled, from Systembolaget, Kiruna. Hazy amber, small head. Fruity nose with cystan malt and water melon. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Cystan malt and winegums. Fairly low bitterness.

330ml bottle, many thanks to Finn. Crocheted lacing from a beige tophead. Clear golden-brown body. Inviting mid-sweet caramel malts on the nose. Balanced taste profile of caramel, bread and earth with discreet leafy bitterness to the ending. Smooth mouth feel. Medium bodied. Likable. (Tromsø 18.03.2019).
