DESCRIPTION

Moneybags is a Double IPA.

It’s one of the most expensive beers we’ve ever made. A thick, big and juicy DIPA, pumped full of Citra and Mosaic, and fermented with a Kveik yeast strain to really bring out those big pineapple and mango flavours.

Goes well with big bills and deep pockets.

Small yellowish-orange rim over fully hazy orange beer. Fruity hopesters with citrus, passion fruit, asafoetida, orangepeel, guave. Dry, bitter, almost astringent hopoil feel and hopflavours. Again orangepeel and -oil. Some resins backthroat. Oily feel, feels better than it looks. Well-bodied. Tasty DIPA, fruity and resiny.

From a 440ml can on 7/1/2021. Pours a deep orange golden with a medium head. Has a lovely dank, citrus and tropical fruit aroma, with floral and honey notes. Tastes of sweet fruity nectar - mango, guava, pineapple, orange, again with a distinct honeyed sweetness. Has a mild bitterness which sets off the sweetness perfectly. Super smooth and easy drinking for a ten per center. The mouthfeel is slick, silky and thick, the carbonation softish. Rich, sumptuous, balanced and harmonious. A truly outstanding big hazy.

0,44l can from Hoptimaal online store. PKD 04/06/20, BBE 01/03/21. Hazy dark yellow beer with medium, cloudy head. Aroma has exotic fruits and some weird glue aroma. Flavor has glue, exotic fruits, some booze, heavy sweetness. Heavy overall, not fresh anymore, low carbonation. Way too old.
