Moneybags is a Double IPA.
It’s one of the most expensive beers we’ve ever made. A thick, big and juicy DIPA, pumped full of Citra and Mosaic, and fermented with a Kveik yeast strain to really bring out those big pineapple and mango flavours.

(Can) Cloudy pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with citrus peela, dried pineapple, mango, grapefruit, honey, white bread and a touch of rosemary. Fruity, slightly sweetish, taste with notes of citrus peel, dried pineapple, white bread, rosemary, honey, mango, grapefruit and a generous citric/resiny bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, quite sweet. On the sweet and boozy side, but with loads of hops. Hardly balanced, but quite tasty. Very nice.

Can. It's an unclear orange colored beer with a creamy finger-thick white head. The aroma is juicy-fruity, with pineapple, grapefruit and a generic tropical fruityness. Some pale malts and alcohol, with a touch of bread and caramel. It's full-bodied, lightly warming and softly carbonated, with flavors of orange, pineapple, grapefruit, pine cones and a good dash of malty sweetness. Some bread and caramel. Lasting finish. Too sweetish I think, but tasteful. 210918

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. Pours very slightly unclear yellow-gold with a creamy white topping. Medium sweet flavour with mellow piney bitterness, semi-ripe citrus fruits, mango, tangerine, melon. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more citrus, rounded piney notes, supportive pale malts. Solid sauce.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20210709) The beer poured golden and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had tangerine, grapefruit and pineapple. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grapefruit, pineapple, citricness, spiciness, floralness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity, floral and bitter. A delicious hoppy brew with complex but balanced notes of tart fruits.

440ml can, rebrew version at 9%. Opaque golden, white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, mango, pineapple. Taste is juicy and fruity, mango, orange and pineapple, bit of a piney resinous end. Medium bodied, smooth, hides the booze well.
