22oz bottle picked up at the brewery several years ago. Pours black with a small tan head, light lacing. Toffee, cigar tabacco, leather, dark fruit, cacoa and vanilla. Tasty. This coffee blend really changed this beer.

Draught @ Beer Temple, Amsterdam, unspecified which batch. Pours a black colour and a beige head with reasonable retention and a little lacing. Aroma's: big roast from the glass, roasted malts an roasted coffee. Additionally some red/sour fruit retronasal. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate roasty bitter. There seems to be a touch of sourness, not sure that it's the coffee or a sign of infection? Medium bodied. Long finish, moderate roasty bitter. Needs a retry from bottle at some point.

Tap at BeerTemple, 7th August 19. Pours black. Aroma is ash, wood, cocoa and barrel. Taste is ash, cocoa, chocolate, some barrel, not too sweet, bourbon well integrated, mouth feel is light and this drinks like an 8% beer, very dangerous

Gott!

RB backlog. Subdued cocoa, vanilla, strong bourbon notes without the booziness. Thick body opens with a medium sweet start, some minerals and a tart play of sweetness, minerals and building bitter notes in the finish. Amazingly round.
