ore coffee than cacao, but a good deal of both. Slightly acidic from the coffee. Good thing I like coffee, cause this really has a lot. Nice thickness, good mouthfeel, very solid.

Bottle shared at home. Black with creamy tan head. Sour red berries, coffee, soft roast, dark chocolate, light oak, raspberries, earthy, chocolate cake, soft whisky. Medium sweet and bitter, under medium sour. Thick creamy body. Bit disappointing, the sourness seems like an infection and doesn’t work with the nice chocolate in here. Weird. This was batch 97, I tried to look up the details on their website but couldn’t find this batch.

Dark brown color with whiskey aroma. Taste is whiskey with hints of chocolate and slight roasted coffee.

More coffee than expected, maybe spoiled by the riches of triple barrel where the coffee roast is long dead, it reeks of coffee but at least offers dark chocolate flavors. And it's thick!

Taster, many thanks to Werckmeister!
Black body, with a small, creamy, dark beige head.
Aroma of chocolate fudge, cocoa powder, coffee, liquorice, toffee, some tobacco, slight molasses.
Tastes similar, with a bit more tobacco.
Full, creamy, velvety mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes smooth, warm, medium roasty, medium dry, a bit sweet, wooden, with dark chocolate, tobacco, liquorice, slight molasses.
Tasty! Very smooth and balanced, with a great mix of sweet chocolatey and robust roasty notes. Thick and creamy, while never too heavy. Lovely sipper.
Score: 8 / 4 / 8 / 5 / 17
