Big Bad Baptista is inspired by traditional Mexican coffee, Café de Olla, which is served with cinnamon and piloncillo, an unrefined sugar. The Cinnamon adds another layer of complexity and accentuates the earthy character of Mexican Coffee, but more importantly, it captures the essence of a place and its culture.

Coffee! Some cinnamon, not too much, boozy barrels, alcohol, cocoa and vanilla. All in the right moderation, and balanced well. Very flavorful, very dark, roasty coffee.

From bottle, v2016, at home. Thanks Mike for helping to get this!! Black color with nice brown head. Malty aroma, roasted, spicy, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, light alcohol and wood. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma and even better. Medium to full silky oily body with soft carbonation.

Black body, with a small, creamy, dark beige head.
Lovely aroma of cinnamon, milk chocolate, moderate bourbon, cocoa, moderate coffee.
Tastes quite similar, with more booze, tobacco, cocoa powder.
Full, oily mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes dry, roasty, medium spicy, a bit wooden, with cocoa powder, tobacco, with some bourbon, some dark chocolate.
Very tasty. Beautiful, dense stuff, with a great balance between sweet spices, creamy chocolate and welk integrated bourbon barrel. Alcohol is a bit noticeable in the taste, while well hidden overall. Lovely, complex sipper.

Release 11. black color, small coffee colored head. smells of cinnamon, mexicake, cocoa, bitter chocolate. very nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of cinnamon, mexicake, bit peppery, chili, bitter chocolate, earthy, light vanilla. finishes lightly roasty bitter with notes of cinnamon, peppery notes and some peppery notes. very nice one, lovely mexicake flavours very smooth to drink. great one. lovely

Bottle shared by Caesar @ Mancave tasting. Opaque very dark brown to black color, medium sized light brown colored head. Aroma and flavor are malts, brown malts, light roast in the background, heavy vanilla, I get a light nutty presence as well. Quite pleasant.
