Clear amber color and a white head. Tart and earthy nose, wooden. Tart, taste remembers on flamish red with sharp, bitter hops. Vermouth at finish .

07-06-20 // 330ml bottle. Intense! Loads of wood and grapes. Some old fruity hop aromas recognizable. A mild acidic touch. Quite dry.

0,33 l bottle from their Lagerverkauf. Unclear flat copper with a one finger head in the glass. Winery barrel wood boozy smell. Taste starts fruity, wine, wood, dry, little bit medical. Some balanced malt in the middle section, malty herbal medical background. Some alcoholic bitterness. Hard to find the IPA in it. Not my kind of stuff.

330ml bottle [#0240/1050]. Minimally cloudy, dark amber colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Woody, vinous aroma, notes of oak, white wine, white grapes, some herbs, glue overtones. Taste is initially sweet-ish caramel malty, slightly citrusy hoppy, hints of orange, later slightly dry, minimally tart, tannic, vinous, woody, oaky, notes of white wine, white grapes, more holistic, integrated and homogeneous in the last third; additional citrusy fruity hints of grapefruit and lemon come in. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, gentle carbonation. Slightly disharmonious.

Mild säuerlicher, kräutrig hopfiger Beginn. Minimal bitter, säuerlich bleibend, holzig. Sehr trocken, intensiv würzig, vollmundig. Bitter alkoholischer Abgang, kräutrig. 10/9/11/11/9/11
