A lot of roasted malt with coffee, some chocolate, and very light sweetness. T is quite dry, mostly with coffee. Didn't really find vanilla in here. Good for the style.

Draft. Nitro. Dark mahogany beer with a tan nitro head. Roast and coffee aroma. Coffee and caramel flavor. Medium bodied. Coffee and caramel linger with light vanilla.

Nitro sample at the taproom. Brown-black color with a medium creamy beige head that recedes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Roast malt, chocolate and coffee aroma. Medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, vanilla and coffee. The finish is sweet with a vanilla mocha aftertaste. Above average overall.

On nitro tap at Polite Provisions, pours black with a large, cascading off-white head. Aroma brings out coffee upfront, with light earth and a hint of vanilla beans. Flavour is along the same lines, with dry earthy coffee. Not really getting the vanilla beans on this. It's simple but decent.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate coffee aroma. Roasted malty coffee chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty coffee and chocolate finish.

On tap at the brewery. Black with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of coffee, roasted malt, some vanilla and light chocolate. The mouthfeel was creamy and the body medium. A decent one.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast coffee, vanilla, brownie. Medium body, cocoa, vanilla, dry roast, very good.
