Tap at Hops. Black pour with an off-white head. Nose is intense coffee, some dark chocolate and cocoa powder. Taste is slightly sweet malty, somewhat bitter and acidic roasty. There's lots of coffee, some earthy notes and dark chocolate. Closes with a chocolatey, coffee finish, has a medium to full, somewhat creamy body and soft carbonation. Not too complex, but quite tasty and well rounded.

Bottle at home. Aroma is roasted malt, strong roasty coffee beans, mocha, dark chocolate, some fruity hops in the finish. Flavour is moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. Tasty coffee stout.

Аромат как и положено кофейный, даже не зерен а скорее крепкий кофеек по утру. Также имеет место быть дрожжам, и легкие нотки ликера и красного вина, немного древесины. Цвет темный как черная дыра, рядом с гаргантюа пышная кофейная пенка. Вкус весьма плотный, много кофе, яркая солодовая составляющая. При глотке сильная кислинка, легкие нотки какао бобов, на оттенке снова алкогольный напиток, высшего сорта. Ну и снова много кофе, но не зерен. В целом хорошо.

Bottled. Deep brown colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is toasted malts, mild coffee, some dried fruits and mild herbal tones. Flavour is toasted malts, some toffee, coffee, mild ashes and some slight dried fruity and mild chocolaty tones to it.

Bottle from my dear colleagues, as a birthday present - thank you! Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable tan head. Clear aroma of coffee, dried fruit and yeast, with notes of malt. Roasty flavour of coffee and hops, with touches of lactose, malt and yeast and hints of dried fruit. Roasty and estery aftertaste. Creamy, smooth and yet roasty - satiating and perfectly balanced. Good stuff!

On tap at Brewdog Cowgate. Appearance - opaque jet black. Thin but attractive crema head. Nose - savoury and earthy. Coffee but very dry. Chocolate. Taste - burnt or heavily roasted coffee, creamy dark chocolate. Palate - creamy and medium bodied. Roasty finish. Overall - good.

375mml. bottle. @home, 12/12/2020. Advent Calendar Day 12. [#3.677 Global - #238 Denmark - #62 Mikkeller] Pours jet black with a thick and creamy tan head. Aroma is coffee beans, nuts, dark chocolate and soft lacto. Taste is espresso, mocha, liquorice and soft lacto. Medium bodied. Next one please!

Almost black beer, a head is big, creamy and brown. Aroma has chocolate, coffee, balanced sweetness. Taste has coffee, some chocolate, roastiness, hint of lactose. There are lots of dark nuancees, but despite of that, very nuanced. Medium bodied. The coffee is strong, but still great balance.
