Been forever since a LA tick. This C&C 750 mL from Jim's Foodmart Houghton, 7/4/20. Celebrating this holiday by drinking the states: OH, WI, MI, NY, and now CA. Hazy and vibrant orange, large pillowy white head, good retention. Aroma of brett, funk, oak, dandelion, perfume, dry and tart citrus rinds. Taste is pepper, brett, funk, oak, tart citrus. Medium bodied, delicate, lingering pepper and funk. Nice.

On draught at the brewery during a late-night swing by as part of a buddy's 50th. I love hitting the Confessional - they were closing up and let us knock back a few quickly. Great people. And great beer. Scores recorded but not detailed notes of the beers.

Bottle, 75cl corked. A hazy golden colored beer with a small white head. Lightly funky aroma with barnyard, lemon, cellar and some spiced notes. Citrus zest too. It's medium to full bodied, nicely carbonated and quite dry, with a citrusy bitterness. Funky, citrusy flavor with cellar, barnyard, and a light spice hint. Long citrusy finish. Pleasant, tasteful and easy drinkable. 190727

Slightly hazy golden with a white head - Tart citrus aroma - Malt body with a light sour citrus flavour - The gentle sour citrus flavour goes into a long finish - This was good

The Aromas are caramel malt, citrus, tart, floral, spice and funk. Flavors are similar to nose, not quite as good, tart side, and some metallic in there. Good body but metallic gets in the way of the Finish.
