330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, brown head. Minimally sweet-ish, roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, a touch of lactose, hints of roasted nuts, dark chocolate, whiffs of liquorice and blueberry. Taste is bitter, roasty, dark malty, a sweet-ish touch of lactose, notes of coffee, mocha, some dark chocolate, fruity blueberry overtones. Creamy texture, smooth, soft, silky, minimally metallic-repellant, simultaneously minimally cloying palate, fine and soft carbonation. Well balanced, harmonious, superbly crafted, very nice, mild coffee and mocha flavours - outstanding.

Dunkler, cremig bitter-malziger Antrunk, vollmundig. Intensiv röstig, ziemlich trocken, die Bitterkeit bleibt intensiv und relativ trocken. Viel Kaffee, eine Riesenladung Malz, langer intensiver Nachgeschmack. 11/13/13/13/10/13

Bottle from Gedeelde Vreugde. Pours cloudy black with a stable, foamy, dark beige head. Aroma of coffee ground, cappuccino, dark chocolate & praliné cream, vanilla, sweet tobacco, prune. Taste has sweet chocolate, praliné & nuts, dash of cream around a bitter core of coffee ground & toast, some dark fruits underneath with a subtle gravy-like umami aspect. Dry, earthy hoppy finish, lingering creamy coffee, chocolate & toast. Medium to full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Very pleasant surprise, very tasty & full at only 6%.

375 ml bottle. Pours murky black with a big fluffy stable beige coloured head. A lot of coffee, lactose, burnt malt, liqurice, robusta beans, some lime. Dry bitterness, acidic sourness, some sweetness. Full bodied, creamy oily texture, soft carbonated, dry sour bitter finish. Nice!

Bottled. Black, rich beige head. Milky coffee aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Coffee with milk, notes of metal. Slight spicy bitterness.

Draught @ Mikkeller, Odense. Pours black with a small beige head and lacings. Chocolate, coffee, ashes and beans. Smooth. Dry with a bitter roasted finish. Nice.
