Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is peppery yeast, bretty funk, fruity notes, mild tropical, hay, melon, soft spicy/herbal notes, with a slight touch of vegetables. Flavour is moderate sweet, slightly tart and light bitter with a fairly dry finish. Body is almost medium. Very tasty funky Saison.

Bought january 2016. Hazy pale to medium golden colour, nice fizzy white head, mostly diminishing, thin layer remains, almost no lacing. Sour nose, overripe apples, brett, wood notes. Soft taste, medium sweet and sour, touch of bitterness, brett, yeast, goose berries, some vinegar. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, mildsweet and sour aftertaste, woody notes, nice funky stuff.

At a tasting, thanks, small stable creamy head, cloudy murky palish orange color, aroma of peach, plum and spicy hints, yeasty nutty flavor, a bit coarse bitterness, just a bit unbalanced. Drinkable but not too great.
