Birra bruna dal profumo intenso di malti e con una leggera nota di luppolo agrumato, mai predominante. Sapore morbido, avvolgente, strutturato, persistente. Attenuazione medio alta e corpo medio. Fatta con malto pilsner, malti tostati e caramellati e lievito tipico Belga.
La particolare morbidezza e complessità la rendono adatta ad accompagnare i piatti più intensi della cucina: carni rosse alla brace, brasati, ossobuco, ragù, formaggi stagionati, sopressa veronese, salumi affumicati, castagne, frutta secca. Buona anche dopo il caffè e dopo cena.

Bottle. Cloudy amber, creamy offwhite lace. Dry yeast, prune, esters, paint thinner. Medium body, unclean alcohols fermenting fruit basket. Nope.

33cl bottle. A clear amber beer with a beige head. Aroma of caramelized and mild sweet reddish malt. Taste of sweet caramelized malt, nuts, toffee, spicy bitter finish.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with white head. Aroma is peach, estery, fruity. Taste is peach, a bit bitter, jammy, bready. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not really a Dubbel, but not bad
