Säuerlicher Beginn, geringe Karbonisierung, fruchtig nach Granatapfel, wenig Rose, wässriger Hintergrund. Konstante Säure, langer säuerlich fruchtiger Abgang. Okay, erfrischend. 7/8/11/8/10/8

0.33 l bottle from 'Vormann Brauerei', best before July 2021. Slightly hazy, red with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, pinkish white head. Sweetish, minimally sourish, gently fruity and floral aroma of rose hip, hibiscus and pomegranate. Slightly sweet, gently sour, quite fruity and moderately floral taste of lemon, pomegranate, hibiscus and some rose hips, followed by a short, gently tart, moderately dry finish. Medium body, smooth, slightly astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant Sour Ale, nicely balanced and refreshing, would be a lovely thirst-quencher during summer.

Didn't expect the first Bulgarian beer I'd rate would be a sour red. Some hibiscus and sour plum. Too acidic for my liking. Murky brown pour with ok head. Sour end. Tap at Churchkey.
