Tap at Bierbeurs, Delft: Cloudy orange/golden colored brew with an pretty sweet bitter taste and some slightly alcohol-burn in the back. Hints of orange, apricot and peach. But is this one not brewed at Huyghe, it's have that Delirium feel, taste and appearance.

Flesje gedronken tijdens vakantie. Goudgeel bier, heftig schuimend tijdens inschenken. Aroma van gras en hooi. Smaak is zoetig, moutig en hoppig. Weinig nasmaak, iets bitter.

@home poured into a small chalice. Hazy pale golden colour, small frothy white head, dissipating slowly to a thin layer with a lot yeast circles, fair lacing. Aroma sweet malt, banana, grain, Belgian yeast, spicy notes. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, light citrus, yeasty, spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation, dry and fruity sweetbitter aftertaste, cardboard, peppery on the tongue. well-balanced, good example of the style, overall good.

Helder geel en levendig bier met mooie stevige schuimkraag. Smaak is krachtig bitter en fruitig met iets van banaan, citrus en kruidnagel. Echt genieten dit bier.

330ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately to mostly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral, yeasty fruity, minimally dusty, yeasty spicy and slightly grassy, hoppy aroma, hints of yellow stone fruit, a touch of honey, some fresh hay, minimally biscuity, wheaty, malty background. Taste is sweet-ish malty, bitter, grassy hoppy, minimally dusty, peppery spicy yeasty, a touch of honey, floral overtones. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium to coarse, prickly carbonation. Very nice nose, rather watery and anaemic in taste, a bit like diluted honey - overall OK.

Globalement agréable cette triple Jules fait preuve de déséquilibres successifs qui ne permettent pas d'être totalement satisfait de sa dégustation. Ainsi des épices trop présentes ou un alcool pouvant être légèrement agressif voire de légers relents plastiques viennent nous contrarier alors que la base, elle, est très honorable. Le visuel est sur un blond orangé légèrement voilé avec une mousse blanc cassé crémeuse très abondante (4 cm). Le nez est sur le girofle, la banane, la pêche, l'ananas et le genièvre. Celui-ci a un caractère certain tout comme l'attaque, bien épicé, un brin trop d'ailleurs avec un poivre qui apparaît en plus des arômes présents au nez. Un petit côté plastique dérangeant est également décelable. La texture, fine surprend quelque peu. L'équilibre malt/amertume/alcool est cependant bon. La deuxième bouche voit l'alcool, à 8%, sur des airs de Gin, prendre confiance et être légèrement agressif. Une petite astringence apparaît également. Arrière bouche et final bien que sobres seront plus équilibrés, moins épicé et avec un alcool juste. Corpulence et longueurs sont pour leurs parts appréciables. Jules ne sera pas le César des triples.

Thick, just off-white head over almost clear orange-golden beer, well carbonated. Spicy nose, hints at white candi sugar, orange(peel) aroma, not unlike coriander, but apparently not the herb. Yeastesters. Dry flavour with a little burning, aromatic edge, toast, again oranges, orangeliqueur. Definitely white candi sugar. Breadyeast, spicy esters. Better than the nose. Mannah, warming up becoming a bit pharmaceutical. Burning MF, very dry, good carbonation, long lasting flavours. Taste is quite OK, and could nearly be called original. The wheat?
