Tap @ Kufle i Kapsle, Warsaw. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark amber. Aroma and taste are rich fruits, candy sugar, bitter hops, flowers, little caramel and malt. Nice bitter finish.

Piwo o owocowym aromacie dokladnie owocow lesnych, w smaku slodkawe naprzemian z chmielnymi posmakami. Piwo o miodowo czerwonawej barwie, niklej piance. Alkohol niestety wyczuwalny i rozgrzewajacy. Nie tego sie spodziewalem po polskim Barley Wine

Draft @ Spiskowcy Rozkoszy, Warsaw. Cuivrée, col fin blanc-cassé. Arôme offre un bouquet fruité tropical, même que ce dernier est assez prononcé pour un barley. Malt présent avec une impression de feuilles bouillies, rétro de grains, caramel, pâle, Munich et assez herbacé en avant. Palais fruité tropical tirant sur le fruit de la passion avec un bon malté perçant en fin de bouche. Note ananas, amertume sèche et herbacée, un peu collant aux lèvres. Note rappelant plus un jeune barley wine avec je pense une bière servie trop froide pour vraiment profiter pleinement de ce caractère complexe.

Draught, very little head, clear dark orange to light copper color, aroma of citrus and orange blossom with biscuity malt behind it, bscuity flavor with a fruity melange, strong mellow herbal citrusy bitterness, nicely balanced by a light fruity sweetness. I do not think this is malty enough for a barley wine but still and excellent brew, which i really liked.

Deep amber color with a fine thick off white head. Ok lacing down the glass. Dried fruits, tropical fruits, toffee and hoppy. Thick oily texture. A bit sweet but a solid bitterness balanced this one perfect. Soft carbonation. Solid complex flavor. Dried fruits, tropical fruity, grapefruit hoppy, pine and resinous. DIPA or BW? Well who cares. Lovely ale! Well it has a lot of malt and dried fruit character that is more normal in a BW.

Tap (Szynkarnia, Wroclaw) & butelka 0.5l (31.05.2015). Barwa miedziano-czerwona, piana kremowa, bardzo gesta, obfita, trwala i ladnie krazkujaca. Aromat subtelny, chmielowo-cytrusowy a w miare uplywu czasu slodowy, owocowy, typowy dla barley wine. Fantastyczne uderzenie goryczki w smaku nakryte slodycza (slodowoscia) piwa, choc nuty charakterystyczne dla tego stylu czyli slodowe schowane bardziej w tle a przynajmniej na poczatku. Goryczka calkiem wysoka, krotka ze slodko-wytrawnym koncem. Piwo fajnie zbalansowane w stylu american barley wine z przyjemnymi nutami slodowymi, ktore dominuja w miare ogrzewania sie piwa. Alkohol wyczuwalny, lekko piecze w przelyku i ogrzewa od srodka. Fajnie sie pije a znajac moc piwa nawet za fajnie. Cos czuje, ze wampirza panna mloda znalazla swojego oblubienca :)

@ Kontynuacja Katowice. Amber colour, light beige foam. Minimal carbonation. Very hoppy, aroma of citrus, passion fruit, pine and honey. Also some caramel. More IPA than barley wine, but very good.
