Let’s talk optics. The study of light, and the eyeball… aka the prism that sends images blasting through your dome like a movie projector. As technology advances, resolution increases, so we can see the bigger picture AND the finer details. We’re increasing the view -- in BOTH directions… Magnify the hop factor, amplify perception. Study the hop cone up close… this shiz is Hi-Resolution. We went microscopic; we got a grander view. Crack a HI-RES and widen your scope, both directions.
With massive amounts of late-addition, new-age hops, HI-RES magnifies juicy hop character to the limits of human perception, testing your palate’s ability to comprehend the tiny particles in hops, and the insane flavors they produce.

Canned. Orangey yellow pour. Tangy hops and malt aroma. Thick syrupy pine resub taste with some fruit and a boozy burn. OK but I prefer regular resin

(Can) Amber colour, slightly hazy, with foamy off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with resin, orange peel, pineapple, apricots, caramel, treacle-toffee and alcohol. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of resin, orange peel, grapefruit, pineapple, apricots, honey, syrup, caramel and a boozy finish with a generous resiny, citric bitterness. Almost full body, sweet. Rich and hoppy, but quite unbalanced. A bit boozy, sharp and aggressive. Still, quite nice.

I have to say, 2018, 11.1% according to the can. But with that said, the four pack came from the newest best craft store in the Permian Basin located in Odessa. I sip from the unusually shaped 12 oz can before pouring into a tall tumbler. Smell, I have to pass on that, one of those nights. The taste though, holy crap, different, good. pineapple, tropical fruit, forwardly bitter, hoppy yes but not a bomb. Not sessionable in my mind, one to drink, go on to something else. Somewhat unusual but really nice. I will seek out later Life is good.

Sampled on draft at Hugo's this beer poured a cloudy bronze color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy with fruity hops, orange, and a faint boozy presence. The flavor was tangy, bitter and boozy with vague citrus and fruity hops. Long boozy finish. Moderately full bodied. Ok.

Hi Res is right. Resiny hops, some sweatsock and old pineapple. Flavors tend resiny, vague tropical fruit, peppery. Mango sweetness in the malts, bready, not especially bitter, actually a detectable sweetness at finish. I didn't realize the ABV was so high, but now I can feel it and taste it. The hop resins help keep the fuselly graininess at bay.

Can - Origin and light resin notes. Clear gold with a decent white head. Bitter and oily resinous with a sweet sticky caramel finish. Nice bitterness.

12 ounce can. Bright honey gold color. Large frothy white head. Nice lacing. Fruity malt nose evokes peach, melon and apple. Big sweeping bittersweet flavor. Pine, berries, resin, stoned fruit, candied orange peel, simple syrup, blue spruce and warming alcohol. Yeah, there’s a lot going on here. A bit too sweet; definitely old school DIPA.
