Its roasted malt gives it a caramelised flavor with notes of caramel , chocolate and spices. It is characterized by a delicious balance. The robe is very dense, between burned coffee and caramel; the foam is licorice like, beige. The nose navigates between coffee, chocolate, licorice, notes that hesitate between roasted and burned. The palate is rich, round, slightly ticklish with bitterness in the end, just to mark the length.

(Bottle, 0.75 l - BB 27.12.14, from Alko, 20140228) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had malts, caramel and berries. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were caramel, malts, Belgian style yeast, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A below-average dubbel. Too sweet.

Bottle, dense frothy head, beautifull dark brown volour with red hues, aroma of dark bread, pencil sharpnings and coke, flavour of dark bread and dark bitter chocolate, quite bitter and quite sweet that do not blend well together. Not too good.
