My label calls the beer Luxe Cactus Ale Small, irregular dirty white head over finely carbonated, practically clear foxy-copper beer. Sweetish-fruity nose, as an (artificial) ester for grapearoma, caramel, old hops, oxidated. Fruity, more acidity than the nose would suggest, and clearly oxidation signs. BBd, however, is still 2 months away. Faint hints of citrus (mainly lime). Good carbonation, bit slick, light body. I probably would have liked this quite well, if it weren't for the premature oxidation. As to the prickly pear, well, the fruit doesn't have much flavour in itself, but if I remember what Bitter End brewpub used to do with them...

Geprobeerd met Roelzie1986 op Schenk Speciaalbier festival in Aarle Rixtel. Het is een licht troebel oranje bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige wat fruitige geur. De smaak is fruitig, zoet licht zuur en erg verfrissend!

Color ambarino corona de espuma blanca, aromas a cereal, notas herbales, sabor floral, caramelo, floja.

Sampled @ Tilburg Bierfestival 2018. Clear orange color, average sized white head. Aroma is mainly lime. Also in the flavor the lime is dominant with the other flavors supporting in the background. Quite interesting this brew. Refreshing once you get used to the dominant lime flavor. Nice.

Sampled draft @ Tilburgs Bierfestival 2016. Very milky red fox red looking bread with some off-white bubbles. Nose is huge lemon & lime lemonade and cactus as well as I suppose, artificial lemonade fruit reminiscent of a radler. Taste is artificial lemonade, milky, overly sweet sugar, okay radler-like qualities. Decent I suppose if you are looking more for alcoholic lemonade.
