Draught@CBC2016. Yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, yeast, hay, herbs and some slight floral tones. Flavour is floral, herbal, grassy and some mild toffeeish tones with some funk and mild spiciness and yeast. Not much wine notes here. And Brett is also quite mellow here.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Clear pale gold lasting white head. Sweet saison aroma lemon and lime aroma. Some farmyard funk. I mean the bottle isn’t cheap but the the beer is good. Brett is light bit there. Red wine? Well some grape sweetness maybe. Touch oak on aroma. It’s both a serious saison yet good lightness too. I do like BBNo saisons their best style I think. A sweetish saison with good light lemon and lime flavours and then a bit of dry Brett. Give it another 6 months and this could be remarkable. Good though. A real thinker of a beer.
