Can, 8.0%. Grainy aroma, not too powerful. The flavour starts off a little weak for the ABV, like a strong lager, though. But it turns more powerful, rough, peppery bitterness. A little caramelly.

Bottle. Slightly hazy orange-golden color with a medium white head. Grainy aroma with notes of alcohol. Sweet flavor with strong alcohol taste that’s getting stronger in the finish. After the first few alcoholic-shocking sips it gets a bit easier to drink (I still don’t think I’ll be able to finish it though). Light-bodied. Rather crappy but I’ve had a lot worse. Thanks David for bringing me this beer from Egypt.

Bottled. Pale golden with a small white head. Some sweet maltiness and fruitiness in the aroma. Flavor is sweet malt, some fruits and warming alcohol. More warming than you might expect from an egyptian beer. Too thin, with some hoppiness in the finish. Much better than expected, but not a winner. (051231)
