An aggressive assault of New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops. A pleasant grassy aroma is layered between pepper, mango, papaya, and grape must. With just enough caramel malt to add depth to color, the emphasis here is truly of the Southern Hemispherical variety.

Bottle consumed at Cropredy, Fairports Annual Reunion Festival 2015 Friday 14th shared with Craig. Thick in the mouth, sweet and juicy with lots of hops but also plenty of crystal malt, so quite a bit of toffee also. The appearance is orangey/gold with a white head a touch of haze. Sweet, a little oily. Good. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov13 3.5

Light haze on this amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and soft, mild fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, light cream. Big skunky hops. Mild hop spice and marmalade but this is mostly about the skunk character of hops. Smooth finish. Skunk bomb but pretty drinkable.

650ml bottle. Clear, copper-ish amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Piney hoppy aroma, fruity hints of mango, caramel malty background. Taste is moderately bitter hoppy, piney, some slightly disguised tropical fruit, mango. Decent.

Bottle from Ales By Mail; clear copper pour with a frothy beige head, aroma has freshly mown grass and assertive pine, taste is like a pine cone party, very pine forward with a backbone action consisting mostly of pine, imagine being hit with a Christmas tree and the baubles are mangos, the IUB’s are coming in strong, a pheasant experience.

Bottle. Clear amber liquid with medium white head. Aroma of plastic, rubber, hard bread, light citrus, earth and burnt electronics. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of light citrus, plastic and husky grain. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Either really tired or extremely phenolic. Meh.
