An aggressive assault of New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops. A pleasant grassy aroma is layered between pepper, mango, papaya, and grape must. With just enough caramel malt to add depth to color, the emphasis here is truly of the Southern Hemispherical variety.

A orange-yellow beer with a dense, big and blond head. The nose is great and tropical, papaiyas, mangos, lychee and some mandarin. Taste is tropical fruity, mangos, citrusfruits, nice fructose, the end is slightly piney. The medium bitterness evolving slowly. Medium bodied, pleasant to drink, almost velvety in the mouth. This beer was totally surprise for me. Very aromatic, great smoothness and still great bitterness. Huge IPA.

Bottle shared in NYC - thanks to Will and Sander. Pours clear, rich god with a creamy top. Meh, it’s ok. Kind of a leafy affair, with some rindy bitterness, jammy citrus, berries. Medium sweet, a little bready, with toasted grass, orange, papaya. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly resinous, with toasty bread sweetness, some pine, grass and earth. Fine. (May 2014, score 3.3)

Keg at Far Bar - LA. Pours clear orange-gold with a creamy, white head. The noce has nice tropical fruits, pear, peach, light piss. Medium sweet flavour with more vibrant fruits, juicy melon, papaya, moderate bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish, with very good balance, more juicy fruits. Super fresh, super overall. (June 2016, score: 4.2)

Nose is bitter hops, pine, grapefruit, straw, orange pith, spruce, a real bitter bastard! Taste comprises dank hops, light skunkdom, pine, bitter grapefruit, orange pith, grassy tinge. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi to aggressive hop bitterness in the close/ Solid bitter bastard of an IPA!

22 oz bottle purchased at Albertson’s in Carlsbad, California. The pour is a hazed orange copper with a 1 inch light tan head. Nice lace is left behind on the glass. The aroma is pine, resinous dank floral hop, along with a sweet malt. The taste is the nose, nice balance between the dank resin floral hop and the sweet cracker malt. The palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation, and the dank dry hop in the lingering finish. Solid IPA.
